Christian Carey
Director and Estimator
Christian founded Timberley’s sister company 25 years ago, having successfully started as one man and his digger working for residential and corporate clients. He started learning to drive a digger in the school holidays on the farm and with that proved to be more and more keen on building his knowledge of groundworks.
Christian found that the business was expanding rapidly and with the passion; he joined forces soon after with his business partner and Cousin Oliver.
Christian is the leading man for overall procurement and estimating work for Timberley along with running contracts where he works closely with site managers on all Timberley’s projects. He believes the most crucial part of his role is building professional relationships with current and future clients tendering and pricing projects, he believes strongly in the importance of teamwork, client interaction and forming new relationships with new employees and subcontractors.
No project to Christian is too challenging, and all projects are always interesting, diverse, rewarding and not one day in Christian’s day is the same as the next!
Aside from Timberley Christian is a great lover of cooking and he loves to entertain. He very much enjoys spending time with his family, Sid the dog and Italy. Oh, and driving around the Sussex countryside in his series 2 Landy.
